Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racer Kelley Carrington French scored a victory recently at the The Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 9, with Stoli N Sweet, adding on to an already impressive string of check-earning runs.

Kelley and the seven-year-old gelding placed second the week before, on April 2, at the same venue, and won a jackpot race in Santo, Texas, on April 6.

In other news, Kelley and Slice Of Peachfame, a palomino mare that has had much competitive success, head back to San Angelo Rodeo to run, hoping to add more accolades to the mare’s storied career.

Slice has been fast, consistent, and ultra-competitive since Kelley reworked the mare’s diet a few years ago to address muscle problems.

“I attribute much of this success to the switch to RE-LEVE, a feed developed by Kentucky Equine Research. This feed has allowed my horses to compete at an intense level and schedule without experiencing any more tying-up episodes,” Kelley explained.
