Payton Sweetman grew up in Freehold, New Jersey, and earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Rutgers University. She has been working with horses since she was six years old and rides hunters. Besides horseback riding, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and watching documentaries. Payton was in the yearlong internship program at Kentucky Equine Research before starting her full-time position.

Payton is a customer service specialist and enjoys helping customers with their horses. She looks forward to exploring Kentucky in the coming years.
