“Wallaby Hill CCI is definitely the best event on which to finish the season!” said Amanda Ross, an eventer sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research.

Amanda earned qualifying scores for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the CCI4*L with Koko Popping Candy (Zarzy) and Rle Poynstown Will (Vendi). Not to be outdone by his barnmates, Rle Cavalier Vivendi (Hughie) had a spectacular run at the CCI3*-L to finish third in the division.

In a Facebook post, Amanda summarized her experience at Wallaby Hill, “Zarzy finished a very close fourth in the CCI4*L, and although disappointed with our dressage, she certainly jumped amazingly, double clear cross-country, clear stadium jumping, and just two annoying time faults to keep us off the podium. She pulled up well enough to go round again, which was fantastic to see.”

She continued, “Vendi held himself together in the dressage (he didn’t really want to), was clear and under time cross-country, with just a silly rail in stadium, placing sixth in the 4*L.”

She finished the post by gushing about the up-and-comer, “Hughie was perhaps the star of the team, placing third in only his second 3* competition, and the only horse to finish on his dressage score in the 3*L class. He is a pleasure to ride, and I’m excited about his future!”

Amanda chooses to nourish her horses with EquiShure™EO-3™, Restore®, and Synovate HA®.

“When stress levels rise, feed isn’t always eaten or digested as well as it needs to be,” explains Amanda. “EquiShure is one of the best products to ensure all of my feeding and management efforts aren’t wasted, and it makes the horses feel so much better!”
