Kentucky Equine Research Sponsors Welcome Stakes at World Equestrian Center – Ohio

Kentucky Equine Research sponsored the featured $7,500 Welcome Stake at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio, on July 20.

A field of over 20 entries contested the class, and at the end of the day, it was Patricio Rodriguez (ARG) and his mare Covet Enigma that emerged victorious. Rodriguez was one of only two combinations that jumped a double-clear effort. “She is super game and always careful and fast. I just need to trust her, and she will do her thing,” Patricio said of his fiery mare. This win marked a second Welcome Stake victory for the pair.
