The University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, has put together a website to educate horse owners about lameness.

By clicking on the Lameness Lab, an equine enthusiast can watch videos of lame horses and try to determine which leg is being favored; read about various causes of lameness; and get an idea of when a veterinarian should be called to examine a horse that may be lame. An interactive quiz tests basic knowledge in five areas related to lameness.

Several veterinarians offer their comments and explanations as browsers make their way around the site. The material is presented in an easily-understood way and should enhance the knowledge of any horse owner.
