New Sizes of Your Favorite KER Targeted Nutrition Products: Bio-Bloom PS and EquiShure

Kentucky Equine Research has announced that two of its most popular products, Bio-Bloom™ PS and EquiShure®, are available in new sizes.

Bio-Bloom PS is now available in a 4-kg bucket. With 133 servings (30 g per day), this is the perfect size for customers with two to four horses. Purchasing this new size is more cost-effective than buying multiple 2-kg pails or buying Bio-Bloom PS more frequently. Subscription customers might find this size more convenient.

At 3.6 kg, the new size of EquiShure has similar benefits: notable savings when compared to purchasing multiple 1.25-kg pouches, convenience for subscription orders, and reduced cost per serving. This new size provides 60 servings (at 60 g per day).

Bio-Bloom PS promotes and maintains healthy skin and hooves through the inclusion of key nutrients at levels shown to improve hoof quality and speed growth as well as lecithin and essential fatty acids from full-fat soybean, ingredients that are necessary for the production of resilient hoof horn and shiny coats.

EquiShure is a time-released buffer targeting the hindgut. Changes in the pH of the hindgut due to alterations in the microbial populations and acid profiles cause a condition known as acidosis, which can put affected horses at a higher-than-normal risk for colic and laminitis. Other signs of subclinical acidosis include decreased feed intake or complete inappetence in severe cases, mild to moderate colic signs of unexplained origin, poor feed efficiency and subsequent weight loss, loss of performance, and development of certain vices such as wood chewing, weaving, and stall walking.
