Joe Pagan, Ph.D., founder and president of Kentucky Equine Research, will present original research at the 69th American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) Conference, set to take place in San Diego, California, from November 30 to December 3.

This year’s presentation, titled “Factors Affecting Body Size and the Incidence of Skeletal Disease in Thoroughbred Foals,” builds on decades of growth studies completed by Kentucky Equine Research and its feed-manufacturing partners.

Pagan’s presentation is scheduled for Friday, December 1, as part of the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation session.

Kentucky Equine Research will have a booth at the conference, #2612 on the trade show floor. Stop by and learn about the latest innovations from the company, including ReSolvin EQ, a revolutionary blend of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids with many applications to horse health.

Kentucky Equine Research has a long history of presenting research at AAEP Conferences. Most recently, Pagan paired up with Stephanie Valberg, D.V.M., Ph.D., to present “Feeding Performance Horses with Myopathies” in 2020.
