Pegasus Lite™ is a low-NSC, low-fat, high-fibre concentrate for good-doing performance and pleasure horses designed to meet optimal nutritional requirements without adding excess calories to the diet.

Pegasus Lite™ is a carefully formulated low-starch, low-fat, high-fibre feed especially designed to provide essential nutrients from a concentrated feeding rate, without the inclusion of cereal grains or molasses.  Lite™ contains a special blend of fibres, including the super-fibre lupin hulls, to provide slow-release, low-GI energy, along with plant proteins such as canola meal and lupins to supply quality protein often missing in a roughage-only or restricted-calorie diet.

Ideally suited to good doers, Pegasus Lite™ contains branched-chain amino acids to assist with muscle development and repair, KER Bio-Bloom® to promote a shiny coat and healthy hoof growth, whilst prebiotics and postbiotics enhance digestion and support a healthy gastrointestinal tract.  Lite™ also contains a fully fortified vitamin and mineral profile to support horses at rest and at work. It is suitable for heavy-breed performance horses, those prone to obesity, as well as horses suffering from metabolic disorders, such as equine metabolic syndrome (EMS), laminitis and pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID or Cushing’s disease).

Pegasus Lite™ contains research-proven KER Buffered Mineral Complex® (BMC) to support bone mineralisation, and provides gastric- and hindgut-buffering properties.

With an average feeding rate of 0.5-1kg, Pegasus Lite™ is packed with nutrients but light on calories.
