Sponsored Eventers Earn Top Placings at Ocala Winter 1 Horse Trials
It was a busy weekend for sponsored eventer Liz Halliday-Sharp and her six competing horses at the Ocala Winter 1 Horse Trials.
On her Facebook, Liz posted, “A busy but successful weekend eventing at the Ocala Horse Park is behind us, and I couldn’t be happier with all of the horses!”
Liz earned high placings across the board. She claimed the top spot in Open Intermediate-B with Deniro Z, winning by 16.8 points, and placed second in Open Intermediate-A with Fernhill By Night. With Cooley Quicksilver, she was able to ascend to fourth place in the Intermediate Horse division.
Liz placed fourth in a division of Preliminary Horse with Run Marvin Run, a former research horse that showed promise as a sport horse and was previously competed by Anna Kjellstrom. Liz and Kazoo, also owned by Anna, placed sixth in a division of Training Horse.
“I just couldn’t be prouder of all the horses, and they all tried so hard for me,” continued Liz in her post.
Liz relies on Bio•Bloom™ PS, EO•3™, Restore® SR, RiteTrac™, and Synovate HA® to supplement her horses’ diets, ensuring their nutrition keeps up with their everyday performance demands. She also uses KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds in the U.S. and KER-partner Saracen Horse Feeds in the U.K.
Buck Davidson and Approved Power also had a strong finish for second place in Open Intermediate-B. In Preliminary Horse-A, he finished in eighth place with Almond Joy.
Buck also depends on KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds RE•LEVE® Sport and Ovation™ to guarantee proper nutrition for his hard-working horses.
