KER-Sponsored eventers Buck Davidson, Bruce Davidson, Liz Halliday-Sharp, Dom Schramm, and former intern Emma Partridge all competed at the Rocking Horse Winter 1 Horse Trials in Altoona, Florida, January 25-27, 2019.

Buck Davidson brought the largest herd to compete with ten horses entered across the Intermediate Friday and Preliminary Friday divisions. Buck and Victor B Z led through all three phases in the Open Preliminary Friday C. He also earned top five placings aboard Copper Beach and Approved Power in the Open Intermediate Friday and Erroll Gobey in the Open Preliminary Friday C. Making it a family affair, Buck’s father, Bruce Davidson, won the Training Horse B aboard Chesterland’s Jelly.

Buck uses KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds RE-LEVE® Sport and Ovation™ to provide his horses with the nutrients they need to perform at the top of their game.

Liz Halliday-Sharp had a successful outing with top five finishes in each of the Open Preliminary Friday divisions. Liz placed second in the Open Preliminary Friday A aboard Flash Cooley, third in the Open Preliminary Friday B aboard Duiske Abbey, and fourth in the Open Preliminary Friday C aboard Cooley Stormwater.

Liz relies on Bio-Bloom™ PSEO-3™Restore® SRRiteTrac™, and Synovate HA® to give her horses research-backed nutrition for optimal performance. She also uses KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds in the U.S. and Kentucky Equine Research partner Saracen Horse Feeds in the U.K.

Dom Schramm finished on his dressage score aboard Casalto to win the Open Novice A. In a Facebook post about the competition, Dom described Casalto as “a truly class young horse with a big future!”

Schramm Equestrian relies on diets formulated by the experts at Kentucky Equine Research to provide their horses with optimal nutrition. They use Bio-Bloom™ PSNano-E®Restore® SRSynovate HA® and KER-formulated Legends® Feeds.

Emma Partridge and Max Attack, an off-track Thoroughbred, finished second in the Intermediate Rider division. Emma participated in the Kentucky Equine Research Summer Program in 2018. Learn more about KER’s internship program here.
