Courtney is originally from New Jersey, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science (Equine Concentration) from Rutgers University and worked as a hospital technician at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center. She moved to Kentucky in August of 2022 to pursue her career path in equine research.

Courtney now works as a Research Barn Manager for Kentucky Equine Research at the farm in Versailles, Kentucky. She is responsible for overseeing the care and schedule of the research horses, helping carry out various research projects, and being a part of the research and development team.
