With her veteran campaigners enjoying a weekend away from competition, Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored eventer Liz Halliday-Sharp’s up-and-coming horses took their turn to shine at the Ocala International Three-Day-Event and Horse Trial, held April 11-14, 2019.

With less than a rail separating first and second place, Flash Cooley delivered a picture-perfect show-jumping round to secure a wire-to-wire win in his debut at the CCI3*-L level. Seven-year-old “Casper” has had an amazing winter season so far in Ocala, earning several ribbons during his meteoric rise through the levels.

Second-place honors in the CCI3*-L went to stablemate Cooley Quicksilver, giving Liz a repeat of her one-two punch from the Carolina International CCI4*-S. Liz also won the Open Preliminary with Gorsehill Cooley and finished fifth in both the CCI2*-L and Preliminary Horse with Duiske Abbey and Cooley Stormwater, respectively.

Liz relies on new antioxidant supplement Nano-Q10™  to help her horses recover between phases. She also uses Bio-Bloom™ PSEO-3™Restore® SRRiteTrac®, and Synovate HA® to give her horses targeted nutritional support for optimal performance.

Fellow sponsored eventer Buck Davidson also had a successful weekend, moving up 12 spots to finish second in the Open Intermediate with Approved Power and third in Training Horse-A with True Belief.

Buck relies on KER Sport Horse Nutrition feed RE-LEVE® Sport to supply nutrition that ensures his horses perform their best.
