“So proud of this incredible horse, Humble Glory (Hughie), who has been named as one of the top three finalists for EV Eventing Horse of the Year AND for Off The Track Eventing Horse of the Year!” exclaimed Sophia Landy, a Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored rider.

“Hughie has a pretty remarkable story behind his success,” Sophia said. “To begin with, he was dropped off at my place in a stock crate, July 2017, just 16 months prior to him winning at Adelaide! He was a very unassuming off-the-track Thoroughbred, who had raced, spelled, and then done a little bit of stock work!”

The pair won the 2018 CCI2* Bates Young Rider Championship at the Australian International Three-Day Event held 15-18 November 2018 in Adelaide.

Sophia uses KER’s Restore electrolytes as an integral part of her horses’ recovery process after cross-country and feeds KER Equi-Jewel to her horses that are poor doers.

The Equestrian Victoria Awards winners will be announced Saturday 20 July 2019 at the EV Annual Awards Dinner in Melbourne, Victoria.
