Several Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored riders competed successfully at ZEEP Summer EA Horse Trials, held at Ballarat Equestrian Precinct, February 4-6.

In the first FEI event of the season, Megan Jones claimed victory in the 4* competition with RLE Barina and sixth place with Guhr.

“Barina’s win has been a long time coming. She has tested me and my support team at every turn, and we have now found the right balance in her workload, diet, and ulcer management. We have our sights set on the world championships this year,” said Megan, who partnered with the mare four years ago.

Megan relies on Sucralox™, B-Quiet®, EO-3™, Equi-Jewel®, EquiShure®, Hemabuild®, Nano-E®, Preserve®, and Restore® Powder and Paste to provide science-based nutritional support to her top-level horses.

Victoria-based rider Kirrilee Hosier placed second in the 3* on AEA Flynn. In their last competition, in December, Kirrilee and Flynn placed second at Lakes and Craters. According to Kirrilee, Flynn “stays in peak condition with Equi-Jewel and Restore Powder and Paste.”

In the 2* competition, Lily Wickenden and Fuerst Sensation finished in tenth place. Jaimie Stitchel gave Toto Wolf JS his first start at EvA95, with their best dressage test and cross-country run to date.
